Acetal resin (POM-C), colour: white. Superior dimensional precision and excellent sliding for fast bevel transmissions. With a tensile strength of 65 MPa, an elastic modulus of 2,750 MPa and a melting temperature of 165 °C, this material offers an excellent balance of stiffness, smooth running and dimensional stability.

High dimensional stability and low hygroscopicity ensure consistent precision even in humid environments. Excellent sliding and wear-resistance properties make it suitable for high RPM. Chemically resistant to a wide range of solvents, physiologically inert and certified for food contact. Suitable for meshing with steel counterparts under any lubrication condition, they ensure a reliable, quiet and low-maintenance 90° axis change. The tooth profile complies with ISO 23509.

Injection moulding in POM-C acetal resin. The process ensures high dimensional repeatability and precise bevel geometries, with competitive costs compared with machining from solid. The low hygroscopicity of POM keeps tolerances stable even in humid environments. The pairs are matched in production. Bore reamed to H10 tolerance directly during production: ready to use. Further machining can be carried out on request.
