Payment Methods Operating Procedure

Several payment methods are available (cash on delivery is NOT accepted).

1) Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Prepaid Cards, and Digital Wallets

The card networks accepted are: Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, and American Express.

The total amount due will be charged at the time the Order is submitted.

In order to ensure the security of payments made on the website and to prevent fraud, we use a secure payment service employing the SSL security protocol, whereby credit card data is encrypted before being transmitted to the payment processor. Our website NEVER has access to, and does not store, the credit card details used to pay for the Products.

All payment information is encrypted to ensure the highest degree of privacy.

In the event of a return, refund, or dispute relating to the Order – whether initiated by the Purchaser, where permissible, or by the Purchaser’s card issuer – the corresponding amount will be refunded or released accordingly. For certain types of cards, the time required for the funds to be returned depends solely on the banking system and cannot be attributed to Stagnoli.

Once the transaction has been refunded, Stagnoli shall in no event be held liable for any direct or indirect damages caused by a delay in the release of the charged amount by the banking system.

In most cases, the customer receives the refund within 14 business days (processing times may vary depending on the bank).

2) PayPal

Payment for the Products may also be made using PayPal. By selecting this payment method, the Purchaser is redirected to www.paypal.it to log in and complete payment for the Products in accordance with the procedure established and governed by PayPal.

Data entered on the PayPal website is processed directly by PayPal and is not transmitted to or shared with our Site. Stagnoli is therefore unable to access, and does not store in any way, the credit card details linked to the Purchaser’s PayPal account.

The total amount due will be charged at the time the Order is submitted. In the event of withdrawal from the purchase Contract, or in any other case giving rise to a refund, the refunded amount will be credited to the Purchaser’s PayPal account. The timing of the credit depends solely on PayPal and the banking system.
