Standard Racks with Steel Core – Nylon
Segmented racks in glass-fibre-reinforced PA6 with steel core: 20° pressure angle DIN 782, high structural stiffness for heavy loads
Toothed body: polyamide-based technopolymer (PA6) reinforced with glass fibre, colour: grey. With a tensile strength of 176 MPa, an elastic modulus of 8,500 MPa and a melting temperature of 220 °C, this material delivers high structural performance even under demanding operating conditions. Structural core: co-moulded Fe360 steel. The combination ensures high stiffness, quiet running and bending resistance.
Segmented racks with an Fe360 steel core and a 20° pressure angle (DIN 782). The steel core significantly increases bending stiffness, making them suitable for higher loads than the standard version. They can be butted together for unlimited lengths; ideal for heavy-duty slide guides and CNC.
Insert injection moulding in glass-fibre-reinforced PA6 technopolymer with an Fe360 structural steel core. The steel core is placed in the mould before injection and embedded directly by the polymer during the process, becoming an integral part of the finished component. The result is a single piece, PA6-GF tooth profile with internal metal reinforcement, with high bending stiffness and consistent dimensional repeatability from segment to segment.
