Segmented racks in glass-fibre-reinforced PA6 technopolymer: 20° pressure angle to DIN 782, light and wear-resistant
Polyamide-based technopolymer (PA6) reinforced with glass fibre, colour: grey/black. With a tensile strength of 176 MPa, an elastic modulus of 8,500 MPa and a melting temperature of 220 °C, this material delivers high structural performance even under demanding operating conditions. A light and quiet alternative to metal racks.
Segmented racks with a 20° pressure angle compliant with DIN 782. They can be butted together in sequence to achieve unlimited travel lengths. Quiet, lubrication-free operation; ideal for automation, handling and medium-speed linear motion.
Injection moulding in glass-fibre-reinforced PA6 technopolymer. The process ensures high dimensional repeatability of the tooth profile, precise geometries and a uniform surface finish, with competitive costs compared with machining from solid. The segments are produced to consistent tolerances to ensure pitch continuity when butted together. The material retains full machinability for finishing adjustments on request.
