Stagnoli’s plastic gear couplings are components made from PA6 technopolymer with molybdenum disulphide additive and equipped with a co-molded aluminium insert to increase transmissible torque. These plastic gear couplings guarantee reliable power transmission, effectively compensating for radial, angular and axial misalignments between shafts, a fundamental characteristic in industrial machinery where perfect mounting precision is not always guaranteed.

The integrated metal insert ensures superior coupling stability and high mechanical resistance, while the technopolymer body drastically reduces weight and moment of inertia compared to traditional metal gear couplings. The material with molybdenum disulphide additive offers self-lubricating properties that reduce wear and the need for periodic maintenance, guaranteeing long operational durability even under intensive conditions.

These components operate in a temperature range from -25°C to +150°C, making them ideal for complex industrial applications, automated systems and installations where the reduction of maintenance interventions represents a significant competitive advantage. Available machining includes finished bores, DIN 6885 standard keyways and M5 fixing set screw, with the possibility of customisation according to customer technical specifications.
