Chain tensioner sprockets in glass-fibre-reinforced PA6 with integrated steel bearing: quiet, low-maintenance chain tensioning
Body: polyamide-based technopolymer (PA6) reinforced with glass fibre, colour: grey. With a tensile strength of 176 MPa, an elastic modulus of 8,500 MPa and a melting temperature of 220 °C, this material delivers high structural performance even under demanding operating conditions. Integrated bearing: 100Cr6 bearing steel (or equivalent).
Chain tensioner sprockets with an integrated ball bearing for automatic or adjustable tensioning of roller chains. The PA6-GF body offers lightness and wear resistance; the 100Cr6 bearing ensures long life and low friction.
Insert injection moulding in glass-fibre-reinforced PA6 technopolymer with integrated bearing. The 100Cr6 steel ball bearing is placed in the mould before injection and embedded directly by the polymer during the process, becoming an integral part of the finished component. The result is a single piece, PA6-GF body and coaxial bearing, free of play or subsequent assembly, with high dimensional repeatability and competitive costs compared with machining from solid.
