Belt tensioner pulleys with integrated bearing in glass-fibre-reinforced PA6 and steel: quiet, durable tensioning of timing belts
Body: polyamide-based technopolymer (PA6) reinforced with glass fibre, colour: grey. With a tensile strength of 176 MPa, an elastic modulus of 8,500 MPa and a melting temperature of 220 °C, this material delivers high structural performance even under demanding operating conditions. Integrated bearing: 100Cr6 bearing steel (or equivalent).
Belt tensioner pulleys with an integrated coaxial ball bearing (co-moulded) for tensioning toothed and flat belts. The PA6-GF body ensures lightness and low moment of inertia; the 100Cr6 bearing ensures long life and low rolling resistance. A compact solution for fixed and adjustable tensioners.
Insert injection moulding in glass-fibre-reinforced PA6 technopolymer with integrated bearing. The 100Cr6 steel ball bearing is placed in the mould before injection and embedded directly by the polymer during the process, becoming an integral part of the finished component. The result is a single piece, PA6-GF body and coaxial bearing,free of play or subsequent assembly, with high dimensional repeatability and competitive costs compared with machining from solid.
